VI edition of the University Ernst&Young

On June 3rd, 2011, the final competition of the 6th edition of the University Ernst&Young took place. The students’ team representing  Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, WUT, built of Łukasz Drążek, Maciej Jastrzębski, Łukasz Karbowski and Przemysław Krajewski, took first place in the final contest. The winners received prizes including cash and Amazon Kindle for each member, and the opportunity to hold practice either at Ernst&Young or at Ministry of the Interior and Administration. The team from AGH University of Science and Technology came second, and from Warsaw University – third. The University Ernst&Young is a periodic, mainly annual venture addressed to the students from IT and CS faculties, and it is organized by Ernst & Young Business Advisory. It consists of a set of lectures followed by a practical task consisting in solving a case study problem, being elaborated by the 4-strong students’ teams. In 2011 the teams from 10 Polish universities took part in this competition.
