Work as a programmer in a project “Database of Autonomous vehicles Road Testing Scenarios" (akronim DARTS)”

The aim is to develop an original database of test scenarios for autonomous vehicles, taking into account Polish road conditions. The database will form the basis for the design, development, testing and evaluation of vehicle perception systems. This will be information provided by sensors: IMU, GPS, cameras, radars, lidars and data collected by a specially designed vehicle.  The final part is the processing of such data, their fusion, and then annotation by proprietary software using machine learning algorithms. The result of the project will be a database similar to the Waymo and nuScenes databases.

Expect: - knowledge of structural and object-oriented programming in Python, knowledge of C++, Rust, JavaScript will be an additional advantage- knowledge of relational databases, concurrency, basic machine learning methods, algorithms used to detect objects, tools and software development techniques (SCRUM, git, testing, CI, CD),
We offer:

  • work in a young, dynamic team on interesting issues (innovative on a global scale)
  • cooperation with partners from the German automotive industry
  • the possibility of carrying out a diploma thesis related to the project (engineering or master's thesis)
  • the possibility of completing student internships
  • hybrid work model: stationary in the Department of Artificial Intelligence) and/or online
